Peach Spots the “Milk Lady”—Then Runs Straight for Her Bottle!

# Princess Peach Runs to the “Milk Lady” and Takes Her Lunch Bottle on Her Own

Katie called across the goat area, looking past Mario and Luigi for their sister. “Peach, I’ve got lunch for you.”

Peach came over, and Katie was delighted. The little goat had been playing outside with her brothers, but she seemed to know who had brought the bottle. Katie laughed that Peach now recognized her as the “milk lady.”

That set the tone for an encouraging update. Peach is still learning to bottle-feed after Bella repeatedly turned her away while allowing the boys to nurse. Katie said the little girl has not been taking more than about two and a half ounces at a time. At this lunch, however, Peach latched more readily, sucked for longer stretches, and stood to drink without Katie holding her head in place.

## Lunch With Her Brothers Nearby

Katie spotted Mario and Luigi before finding Peach. The triplets were still together outside, and Peach seemed happy to come to her for lunch.

Peach’s days have not become a permanent stay indoors. Katie wants her to play with her brothers and spend time among the goats, then come inside for bottles and her evening routine. In this update, Peach was a little wet from being outdoors in the mist and rain. Katie affectionately said she had been out there “like a real goat” with Mario and Luigi.

Fans have been following two parts of Peach’s story at once. Katie is concerned about her feeding, and Peach is still an active kid who wants to be with her family. At lunchtime, both were visible: her brothers were nearby, and she came to Katie for a bottle.

At the triplets’ last weigh-in, Peach was five pounds. She had gained weight but remained smaller than Mario, at six pounds, ten ounces, and Luigi, at six pounds, thirteen ounces. Katie wanted to keep watching her growth as she learned to drink more reliably from the bottle. That made today’s feeding progress especially welcome.

## A Better Latch—and Less Help Needed

Katie has had to be patient with the bottle. She said that whenever Peach goes back outside with Bella, she immediately tries to nurse from her mother. Bella continues to let Mario and Luigi eat. Katie feels that moving between those attempts and the new bottle routine may be confusing for Peach.

At this lunch, Peach showed progress Katie could see. She latched quickly and began suckling for a longer stretch. Katie gave her a few breaks, then let her return to the bottle. Peach’s little tail was moving as she fed.

Katie said this was the first time she could really let Peach stand and drink without holding her head in position. She called it fantastic. After helping Peach through earlier bottles, Katie was glad to see her take a more active part in the meal.

The amount she drank remains something Katie is watching. She said Peach had not taken more than roughly two and a half ounces at a time. She did not say the transition was complete. The encouraging change was *how* Peach took this bottle: she started more easily, kept sucking, and needed less help from Katie.

## Honey Joins Lunch

Peach’s meal attracted another visitor: Honey, whom Katie called the original bottle baby.

Honey came close while Katie fed Peach, looking for attention and scratches. Katie joked that if she offered Honey a bottle now, the older goat would probably accept it. Honey had been raised on the red-top whole milk Katie is currently giving Peach, and Katie laughed that Honey had never missed a meal.

Honey interrupted lunch when she headbutted Peach. Katie called her jealous, then turned her attention back to the little goat trying to drink. The moment added a bit of familiar goat commotion to Peach’s feeding time: the former bottle baby wanted to be close while the new one had Katie’s attention.

Katie still had more feeding to do after Peach’s lunch. She mentioned that she needed to bottle-feed calves next.

## Outside by Day, Back Inside Later

Peach would continue spending time with her brothers before coming inside later. Katie joked about the family’s line of house goats, calling Bella house goat number one and Peach a bottle-baby house goat now. She teasingly called Bella the “perpetrator” of the feeding situation.

Bella had once lived close to Katie in the house. Now her daughter has an indoor routine of her own because Katie is helping her learn to take a bottle. Peach still gets to spend the day playing outside, even as she builds a new bond with the person who brings her meals.

This lunch did not answer how much Peach will drink at every future feeding, and Katie will keep watching her progress. It did give her a reason to smile. Peach came when Katie called, stood for her bottle, latched more easily, and drank while Honey hovered nearby.

For a little goat learning a new way to eat, that was a good lunchtime step forward.
